Autistics, Vaxxed and The Never Ending Story

Autistics, Vaxxed and The Never Ending Story.

“People who have no hope are easy to control, and whoever has the control has the power!”.

G’Mork from The Never Ending Story.     https://youtu.be/5sEZmMeH96Q

You may wonder why an autism advocate is writing about T.N.E.S in the same article as Vaxxed….well there’s good reason as explained above.

Andrew Wakefield, Polley Tommey and Del Bigtree are spreading like wildfire right now.

Their whole ethos is built on fear, they spread the word that vaccines, specifically the MMR are causing autism in our children, they are also blaming SIDS and childhood cancer on vaccines.

Being a parent is built on worry, worry that our children are healthy, happy, getting enough nutrients, enough joy…worry that we won’t be here one day to care for them.

That worry is further compounded when you have a child born with a disability, especially one that makes our children as vulnerable as autism.

We panic they will wander, that they will get taken advantage of or that they will never find love, that they will need long term care….

The Vaxxed film was shrouded in controversy as soon as it was announced it would be shown at the TriBeCa film festival.

Add then Robert De Niro stating that “ This film needs to be seen” and confiding he believes his own son regressed from the MMR and you have a melting pot of publicity that won’t quit.

You have the foundations laid for a conspiracy theorists dream, ‘They wanted this film banned because it shows the truth!’, throw in a religious element …’ Gods green earth has been defiled, natural is the only way no man made chemicals no vaccines.’

And then you have the people with no hope…the parents of autistic children who have been left after a diagnosis raw.

They are scared, angry and desperate for someone, something to blame…a conspiracy by the government that took their dreams of a child that would be like them do what they had dreamed of was perfect, is perfect.

These parents do love their children, please make no mistake on that.

They believe they have no hope because they have been told they have none, that their children will only fit into society if they comply, if they are molded to a neurotypical ideal which for some is impossible.

A child that displays less autistic behaviors does not mean that that child is now recovered, it means they have learned to internalize .

They are told early intervention is the golden Grail, and are recommended 40 hours of ABA as standard for a child as young as two.

They are led to believe these children have damaged guts and need to be on strict diets.

Those with children with severe sensory seeking behaviors are left to imagine a life of pain and no real advice is given about how to help these people.

And let’s be clear there’s something many forget, these are people.

They may be younger then us adults but children deserve the right to think, to express feelings whether they be negative or not.

There are many different aids available to help those with stronger seeking needs, ie a helmet and crash pads for head bangers who crave the hard priopreceptive feedback from a head butt to a wall in a meltdown.

These are the individuals most depicted in the Vaxxed propaganda trailers and publicity, the children and adults who are developmentally delayed and have sensory processing disorder as well as an autism diagnosis.

The Vaxxed crew along with a woman named Sheila Lewis Ealey mother of an autistic teenager are compounding those fears, they are spreading the view that autism (as stated by Sheila Lewis Ealey ) is a holocaust

I’ll repeat that.

A Holocaust.

That we as Autistic’s are maimed, injured and HAVE NO HOPE.

There’s a lot of money to be made on fear, who’s paying for the Vaxxed bus to do a tour of the states in the US?

Who paid for the Vaxxed bus?

Fear.

Sadly they will keep on and will seek to silence anyone who stands up to call them out hence the recent flurry of publicity surrounding autism advocate Fiona Oleary after she started a petition to stop Vaxxed being shown.

Anyone who brings hope will be perceived as a danger to these people and their business, and that’s what this is make no mistake this is a business.

And us?

We are the autistic adults, we were once children.

There are many of us, we communicate in many ways, some of us have savant skills and some of us do not, we are all individuals and have many different abilities.

It’s true that autism can be disabling, it has aspects that can be hard but to say I wouldn’t want to be autistic would mean I didn’t want to live.

It would deny the very foundation of me, it’s wholly me.

These parents have been hoodwinked into believing that autism arrived…it was not there before it invaded their child through a hypodermic needle.

The outward signs of autism often coincide with the age the MMR is administered.

The Vaxxed members are doing the rounds of fear, manipulation and above all guilt on the parents of the US with a worldwide reach and it had to be said they are doing a thorough job.

But I hope that just one parent will read this and embrace their child for who they are, not what they think they were robbed of.

We are never going away, we have so much to bring so much to give, so many tales to tell.

We are a story, one that never ends.

Vaxxed Threaten to Sue Autistic Advocate for Petition

Vaxxed Threaten To Sue Autistic Advocate For Petition

When Andrew Wakefield was disbarred and his paper claiming the MMR vaccine causes autism were disproven that should technically have been the last we heard from him.

It wasn’t.

Andrew has found a welcoming and desperate community, the parents of autistic children.

They want answers as to how their children became autistic and he’s more then happy to share his views with them, views that have been disproved here in the UK.

Wakefield is not, however, advising these parents that autism is genetic, he is claiming instead that they are vaccine injured.

He has found now insurmountable popularity with his new film Vaxxed.

This film states that autism is caused by vaccinations and advises parents NOT to vaccinate, please note here I am saying nothing untrue.

The damage done by Wakefield is perfectly depicted by the tragic death of a five year old autistic boy who died after having chelation to remove the ‘heavy metal poisoning’ his parents believed him to have got from the MMR vaccination.

The little boy died from a massive heart attack brought on by Hypocalcaemia , a condition which is triggered by depleted calcium levels in the body.

This little boy had no heavy metal poisoning, he lost his vital metals including his iron and zinc and fatally, his calcium.

Fiona Oleary Autism Advocate from ART Autistic Rights Together, has started a petition to limit the reach of Vaxxed and stop it being shown.

Fiona, who is autistic herself and mother to five children two of whom are also autistic has received a letter stating that the filmmakers whom produced Vaxxed intend to prosecute her if she does not desist in trying to limit the amount of places they can show the film.

Vaxxed who state autism is caused by vaccines are threatening to sue an autism advocate for speaking out against them.

IMG_3905

I spoke to Fiona who wished for complete transparency and gave me permission to show the email said in response to my first question asking what drove her to write the petition?

“To protect babies and children,

to put an end to the ongoing injustice that we the Autistic community face every day!”.

My second question was why Fiona believed Vaxxed should not be shown?

“ It is endangering thousands of children’s lives.

Thousands of babies and children die each year from preventable diseases.

Vaccines do NOT cause Autism.

Vaccines save lives!”

I then asked how Fiona felt after receiving the email with a legal letter threatening legal action?

“ I am in shock!

I cannot believe that Wakefield and his Cohorts would sink to this level!”

Fiona Oleary has been campaigning against autistic mistreatment in particular the scientifically unproven MMS chlorine dioxide bleach ‘treatment’ and the unregulated blood product GcMAF for well over two years now.

It’s worrying to say the least that Vaxxed has gained the amount of following it has.

In the trailer we see founder of autism charity Autism Trust based here in the UK Polly Tommey stating her belief that vaccines cause autism, her manager of the charity based in Surrey is selling the Vaxxed merchandise and was happy to discuss and disclose in a call with Fiona who had phoned asking about the merchandise that that any monies made from the sales were sent straight over to Tommey and Wakefield.

Is it defamation to protest a film being shown or is it an advocates right to raise concerns?

One things for sure, Wakefield maybe disbarred but parents, sadly are listening.

Bio

From as far back as I can remember I did not ‘fit in’ with my neurotypical peers at my mainstream school.

I struggled with maths and preferred to read adventure stories like The Famous Five and The secret Seven.

A figure of fun and a child much bullied describe my school years perfectly.

I was most at home with butterfly’s and snails, playing alone and happy to dream of the fairy civilization I would one day make my way back to.

After leaving school early with no GCSES due to my challenging and as yet un-diagnosed behavior I became a mother at age fifteen to a son.

I went back to college and did a course on teaching primary aged children literacy which I was thrilled to get a level three pass in, it gave me a taste for writing and I began to pen the odd story as an outlet.

I had another three children, two boys and a daughter with failed relationships and worked as a cleaner in pubs and homes.

My children were and are everything to me though as a young mum and un-diagnosed Aspergien I made mistakes that now looking back could so easily have been resolved.

Through having two more children, a son and daughter and realizing one was on the autistic spectrum I was soon to be diagnosed myself as having Aspergers.

I then came to realize my other children were on the spectrum and some are now diagnosed some are not.

When you have never known neurotypical behavior from your children you have nothing to compare behavior to. I therefore took their quirks as they should have been taken, typical to them.

I became aware that not all parents are as accepting of Autism as I after seeing a group named CD Autism on Facebook.

I began campaigning against autistic mistreatment, in particular MMS which is chlorine dioxide bleach being used in enemas and oral solution to ‘cure’ Autism.

I have worked with the BBC, BEN TV,The Independent, The Times and London Live to expose this vile abuse.

With the help of wonderful colleagues we have recently seen the closure of three websites that were selling MMS and promoting it as a cure for Autism.

I also have a face book group which supports Autistics and Parents of spectrum children, we have meet ups in the community giving much needed socializing opportunity for individuals with a peer group that not only understands but supports.

I have also recently opened another support group for parents who home educate their autistic children as we can feel very cut off, it’s good to get the children out and see the parents relax with people who understand.

I began writing a year ago and have a website

Autisticatedalmayne.com and last month had the joy of having my first book published!

It’s called ‘It’s An Autism Thing I’ll Help You Understand It’ and you can see it on www.stass publications.co.uk

I wanted, no needed parents and professionals to see things from an Autistic perspective, and to help them understand behaviors and self stimulation.

To many times I’ve seen the urge to understand stifled in the curious as they are palmed off with ‘It’s an Autism thing, you wouldn’t understand it!’.

I thought well let’s help then to! Hopefully the empowerment the parents and carers will feel can help make their charges feel more understood and supported.

I continue to write with another two children’s books penned and ready to go.

As for my fairy folk, I firmly believe I found them when I discovered the Autistic community three years ago!

Votes and Endorsements – 189 vote(s)

Tuesday, February 23, 2016 – “I would like to nominate Emma Dalmayne for the Positive Role Model (disability) National Diversity Award. Emma is an autistic mother to 6 beautiful children, all of which have autistic traits, some of which have diagnoses. Perhaps it is because she is herself autistic – Emma has a wonderful way of understanding autistic differences and has had her book ‘Its An Autism Thing…I’ll Help You Understand It’ hit the market with her positive understanding of our differences and spreading acceptance. Changing the way people perceive autism is just one of Emma’s challenges which she takes on head first. Emma is also working hard to have the promotion of MMS banned here in the UK. Miracle Mineral Solution (MMS) is basically bleach which is being peddled as a cure for autism. Emma goes above and beyond to highlight the dangers of using this dangerous and illegal product as a treatment for autism. She runs groups on Facebook, works closely with colleagues and is making the world a better place.”

Wednesday, June 22, 2016 – “Emma Dalmayne is a tireless campaigner against inhumane treatment of Autistic children and adults. All while raising her three lovely children and has just released her book to support people in raising Autistic children. “

Wednesday, June 22, 2016 – “I find Emma’s story incredibly inspirational and I wish her every success in her endeavors! She so deserves a recognition! “

Wednesday, June 22, 2016 – “Mental health diversity is much misunderstood and even feared by the population in general, who are very cautious about accepting anything out of the ordinary. As a parent of two Asperger’s kids, but not an Aspie myself, I stand with a foot in both camps and have to take a lot ‘on the chin’ even from people who should know better. What we crave is greater understanding. What we know is that there is no cure. People pedaling drugs purporting to ‘cure’, and then to cause such disastrous suffering and potential long term damage – all because wicked and unscrupulous people are trying to make a financial gain out of fear should be halted in its tracks NOW! I’m supporting Emma as she has the experience and guts to turn against the tide and push back. Good luck to her!”

Tuesday, June 21, 2016 – “In the past year that I have known Emma, I have watched her save countless Autistic people from abuse. She has advocated fo those who have no voice and has sacrificed so much of herself in the process. She has her own challenges, yet she spends most of her days making sure that no person is left behind. Without her, I would have fell victim to the same quackery. Because of her, I have learned that this journey is about acceptance. I am Autistic and so is my four year old. She always takes the time to help me figure out ways to get trough each day. Her book has helped me and many of my friends so much. She deserves this award and many more! I am Catherine (Binky) West from North Carolina. “

Tuesday, June 21, 2016 – “Emma is an amazing lady, full of support an understanding in the autistic community. Her campaign to stop so called cures is amazing and she never gives up. I have learned a lot about myself through Emma while on a journey of self discovery. Her book is an invaluable source of information .”

Tuesday, June 21, 2016 – “In my opinion Emma Dalmayne is a positive role model as she shows her autistic peers in an so encouraging loving way that they are unique and wonderful as autistic individuals and that a positive autistic identity is possible. She engages and counsels other peers so passionately that me as also being peer counselor on the spectrum I feel a lot inspired to do more of it. Unfortunately my website is down at the moment but you find me on XING, Facebook and LInkeIn to varify me. “

Tuesday, June 21, 2016 – “I have a grandson who possibly has Aspergers but is un-diagnosed.”

Tuesday, June 21, 2016 – “Emma has been very active in the autistic community. She’s written so many positive resources. She’s also been fighting the anti science myths about autism. The anti score community spreads false information about vaccines and autism. The worst part is the anti science community spreading false messages that autism can be healed with unregulated dangerous quack products such as mms CD which is unusual bleach and gcmaf. Emma has been dealing with horrible people from the anti science community who are angry with her exposing the dangers. I’m also an autistic parent of autistic child and am very glad to know Emma. Her continued autism support, positive autistic resources and fighting anti science myths is welcomed and is teaching others the positive aspects of autism. Thank you Emma!”

Tuesday, June 21, 2016 – “An inspirational lady that deserves everyone’s vote.”

Tuesday, June 21, 2016 – “Emma Dalmayne works really hard to spreading awareness about neurodiversity. She is very creative, love her book that let children know early that people has the right to be who they are. Advocate for autistic awareness and has done a great job to not let abusive “treatments ” with bleach go unnoticed. She is the best positive roll model because she is fighting for those who otherwise would go unnoticed. “

Tuesday, June 21, 2016 – “For supporting and helping me understand my daughter’s autism. Emma’s kindness and commitment are invaluable. “

Tuesday, June 21, 2016 – “Emma is a fantastic person. Helps and support lots of parents and kids She has published lovely books, lots of articles in magazines, interview in tv, blogs and videos on YouTube and lots more. Well done Emma! I am mum to a Fantastic Autistic boy that makes me proud all the time. Thanks”

Tuesday, June 21, 2016 – “Ms. Delmayne is a tireless advocate for rights of neurodivergent people throughout the world. I have purchased her book and given it to family members to help them understand my way of being. She inspires me, as an autistic attorney in New York, to “come out” as autistic and advocate for disabled people in general. Her courage motivates me to take action (as an attorney, I have many platforms of influence where I can advocate for we autistics and other marginalized individuals). She has given voice to the voiceless, and shifted the Overton window. I learn so much from her, both by her public leadership, and her individual support and outreach she provides to people around the world. The online community she has established is truly unique – it is a positive and inclusive group of thousands, including on spectrum, off spectrum, gender normative and divergent. Her ability to bring together people of so many backgrounds is unmatched. I respectfully request that you seriously consider Awarding Ms. Delmayne as a positive role model – doing so will broaden the reach of the important, affirming work that she does. Thank you for your consideration.”

Saturday, June 18, 2016 – “Emma is an amazing voice for children and adults everywhere. She teaches compassion, acceptance, and most of all loving yourself. She genuinely cares for people and fights everyday for the most vulnerable population. “

Wednesday, June 15, 2016 – “I think she is doing a super job of trying to protect people with Autism and to teach people about Autism.”

Wednesday, June 15, 2016 – “Emma is an activist who has significantly contributed to giving parents a better understanding and even appreciation of our condition, and she is also very involved in the fight against abuse and dangerous quack treatments that are forced upon autistic children.”

Wednesday, June 15, 2016 – “I think Emma should be nominated for the award all the hard work that she has put in supporting families and friends just a brilliant role model ??”

Tuesday, June 14, 2016 – “A inspiring lady who helps so many others life their lives to the full…she teachers us about autism by sharing her own life and experiences. I have family members with asd and I support children with autism in a primary school.many times I have found solutions and strategies to problems in Emma’s writings.this lady is a star.x”

Tuesday, June 14, 2016 – “Because she’s helping me to understand how to help my two autistic sons!”

Tuesday, June 14, 2016 – “As a person with a diagnosed disability, I believe Emma will be an authoritative voice on the needs of people with disabilities, particularly the autism community. People with disabilities are the best source of information about what they need, and people in positions of authority must learn to listen to them!”

Tuesday, June 14, 2016 – “Emma deserves this so much. She tirelessly cam pains for the rights of the vulnerable, providing love and support. Emma is the constantly picking up the slack where families are not getting the help to making sure they are able to help their ownselves in the long term. “

Tuesday, June 14, 2016 – “Emma is autistic and campaigns against mistreatment of autistic individuals. “

Monday, June 13, 2016 – “Emma wrote two wonderful books that explain autistic behaviours from the inside– they are very helpful! She actively campaigns for autistic rights and leads a very supportive group for autistic people.”

Monday, June 13, 2016 – “I am voting for Emma Dalmayne, she has been a model positive role model with spreading awareness through many mediums such as the spoken and written word of social media, author of books and on TV. Emma’s tireless efforts make a difference and inspiration to parents and families on the spectrum. Good luck Enma cheers”

Monday, June 13, 2016 – “I am proudly voting for Emma Dalmayne because she is a strong autistic mother, author, passionate advocate and brave activist for the autistic community. She is an amazing role model to not only autistic people, but to all women and mothers worldwide. Emma believes strongly in autism acceptance and fights for the rights of autistic people. She is well known for her advocacy work to end the abuse and mistreatment of autistic children that are being experimented on with unregulated, scientifically unproven, dangerous and abusive quack treatments like CD MMS. Her passion to do what is right to put and end to the mistreatment of autistic people is immeasurable. I watched the BBC episode where she was interviewed on the exposure of Leonardo Edwards of the Genesis 2 Church promoting the use of industrial strength bleach misleadingly disguised as a “cure all” from autism to aids which lethal mixture could cause severe vomiting, diarrhea, damage to the gut and respiratory failure. The genesis 2 church is well known for targeting vulnerable families with misleading information. Emma’s diligence in getting to the truth and exposing these criminals is truly remarkable. From my autistic family to hers, I couldn’t thank her enough for her strength and working with the community to lobby the government for legislation to protect autistic people from abusive unproven quack treatments, a much needed legislation. The world is a much better place because of people like Emma Dalmayne who advocate day in and day out. Emma’s courage gives strength to other mothers like myself, to campaign and fight for the rights of autistic people everywhere. “

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “Emma is a courageous and extremely positive role model for both those on the autistic spectrum and for parents of those children who need a little extra help and understanding. Those children need Emma to keep shouting about how things could and should be different for them, including getting these awful abusive so-called treatments of autism stamped out.”

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “I’m voting because we aspies are having our voices stiffled, and worse still the lives of autistic children are in danger. If it wasn’t for Emma’s hard work against a flood of opposition, our plight would be unknown. Emma is a remarkable advocate and deserves recognition.”

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “What a great role model, well done. “

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “She is doing wonderful work to get people to understand autism and how it affects there lives give this lady the credit, she deserves to win or be recognised “

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “Because she deserves to win”

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “Such an inspirational lady who must have so much on her plate with her own and son’s autism to deal with. Devoted to spreading help to others by personal interaction and her wonderful book. “

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “Emma is very competent as an autism advocate and author of books about that item.”

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “This has hit home my son is ASD ADHD and PDA he has a tough time if things in life. He has recently been put on medication, he has been out of school for neau a year as he finds it so hard to be around other people and strange surroundings he does not like change at all so family life is difficult for us all, bit its him er feel most for as he is only 8 years old and does not recognise dome of the feelings he had. Good luck Emma hope you do well in this. “

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “Emma despite having challenges herself and for her children does everything she can to raise awareness.”

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “I choose to give my vote to Emma because she speaks from the heart. She is a very inspirational lady and I wish her all the very best.”

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “For an Autistic young mother, coping with everyday challenges is difficult enough. To be a campaigner and author too is astounding. Emma writes about her experiences and those of her children from the heart and is completely honest about the difficult times they have faced together. She deserves to win! “

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “She is an advocate for the Autism community! She fights for the rights of individuals with autism as well as fights against those that want to ” cure” autism with horrible and dangerous chemicals! She is an amazing woman and deserves this award!”

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “Emma is passionate about educating people about autism. From her personal experiences she manages to promote and value the differences. She has become involved in stopping the miss selling of ‘autistic cures’ on line. “

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “Emma has been a leading campaigner for the rights of autistic people to be themselves, and against so-called ‘cures’ for autism which actually cause serious pain and even death to autistic children. She achieves all this in spite of also having six children who are autistic themselves (diagnosed and undiagnosed).”

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “Inspirational in her field of world “

Sunday, June 12, 2016 – “Emma deserves this. She has combined raising her family with endless campaigning and education, on a subject which is not fashionable and does not enjoy the support of the advocacy establishment. She is fuelled purely by passion and knowledge, has no outside financial backing and achieves more in a week than than most large organisations do in a year. She has published 2 books and an enormous number of articles and has educated an imponderable amount people about autism and more specifically issues of our human rights and protection from abuse. A prime example of a model advocate. We need more Emmas! “

Wednesday, June 8, 2016 – “Because she works so hard to put across her beliefs, her determination is to be admired, having known Emma personally she really is a lovely person who knows what she is aiming for.”

Monday, June 6, 2016 – “Her bio and her books are evidence aplenty, read them! She is very clever and very caring and very insightful and is very beneficial to all Autistics and all their loved ones and all neurodivergent and neurotypical people in their lives. She fights against quack cures such as the relatively large-scale scam of feeding bleach (CD / MMS) to Autistics, even babies, orally and enemas, burning out their intestinal lining which comes out and they call it parasites as a sign it’s working but it’s a crock, the kids get sick from it. There is no cure for Autism. Being Emma is a powerful allie against this type of abuse, this award would perhaps give very needed publicity for the fight against CD / MMS scammers; the more people fighting it the better. I’m unaware of any politicians or major Autism advocacy orgs even touching the issue yet at all. So for that alone, yes give her the award please. But for everything else she’s done as well, give her two of them and a kiss on the cheek! ðŸ˜‰ <3”

Monday, June 6, 2016 – “Emma works extremely hard fighting for the rights of autistic people. She is most certainly someone I admire greatly. Mum of two (family awaiting clinical ASD diagnosis). “

Monday, June 6, 2016 – “She is a wonderful friend to those of us autistics she encourages on a daily basis”

Sunday, June 5, 2016 – “Emma campaigns tirelessly to expose and shut down the horrific abuse of autistic children with bleach. She does so with either six kids of her own, volunteering to do so – doing so relentlessly. Her drive and determination to make our community – the autistic community – a safer place place is hugely inspirational and absolutely deserves recognition. Furthermore, recognising Emma would give her a further platform to work with. I honestly have no idea how she does what she does, but we are hugely grateful to her for sticking her head above the parapet and doing so. There is a time when people need to stand up and be counted and Emma is the one we should be thanking on branded knee for her work.”

Sunday, June 5, 2016 – “Great role model for autistics. Helpful, friendly & has lots of great advice. Her support group is fantastic. “

Sunday, June 5, 2016 – “Emma has been an inspiration to me to do more myself for the autistic community as an advocate-she has worked tirelessly to put a stop to some of the most controversial treatments that are harming our autistic kids as well as promoting the positive ways we can all communicate together both with our children and with autistic adults -her passion sincerity dedication doggedness and sheer hard work is something that should be recognised”

Sunday, June 5, 2016 – “Emma is a hero to many autistic people. As an autistic person and a parent to autistic children, she is in a unique position to help parents, like myself, to really understand the issues faced by our autistic children. As a parent, I felt paralysed by the various contradictory approaches to autism. I had no idea there was a huge worldwide population of autistic advocates, bloggers, writers, and campaigners. I was not aware of the neurodiversity movement, even though I had been a campaigner against racism, sexism, ableism, and homophobia for most of my adult life. When I discovered the neurodiversity movement, it was a “no brainer” that I should reach out to autistics themselves: who better to understand what it means to be autistic? Emma is part of a handful of people with family commitments and limited resources who fight against the abuse of autistic people. She is an advocate who builds bridges between autistics and the wider community, especially parents like myself, with her excellent advice and practical support in local groups. We are often told that autistic people are “in their own world” but Emma is firmly in the real world, fighting for autistic people like my son, who have been misunderstood, ignored, or confused for far too long. I’m not a fan of the term “national treasure”, but in this case I will make an exception. Emma Dalmayne is a national treasure! “

Tuesday, May 17, 2016 – “Autism/Asperger’s advocacy is badly needed to raise awareness, promote diversity and acceptance. Emma does this and much more on a daily basis with her work as someone who campaigns against and reports dangerous charlatan treatments and persons, mostly directed at the Autistic community. She runs support groups, has written a book and does all of this in addition to being a mother. I think her dedicated hard work should be rewarded. “

She fights for are children’s rights to be treated just like any other child. Nothing is ever to much for her and by joining Emma’s group I now feel I have an extended family and people who understand how hard daily life can be for not only the parent but also the child. She is one amazing lady that deserves so much for all her hard work that she does. Also her book has helped so many people understand not just parents but teachers and other professionals I hope she get put through as she deserve it and so much more “

Monday, May 16, 2016 – “I am voting for Emma because she’s making a positive difference for the autistic community, I am autistic and so are my children and my partner. She is a wonderful positive role model and an inspiring person. “

Monday, May 16, 2016 – “Emma is literally 1 in a million, she advocates for people who are generally voiceless and turns what people perceive as a disability in to a different ability. She has personally helped others who are struggling to advocate for themselves to find their strength and voice and brought serious abuse into the spotlight for all to see, her work is in the national media because the work she does is not highlighted enough and she is so committed to ending the abuse the vulnerable receive. Not only is she an advocate, she is also a teacher. Her work educates so many people about the people around them, sometimes the very people you live with. The way she teaches and highlights acceptance and explains what it is like to be autistic and how you can help an autistic person feel accepted and valuable (as society so misunderstands and undervalues them) is amazing, she has opened my eyes and her teaching has completely changed who I am as a parent and has made me want to be a better parent and person, her work has directly affected my family because she gave a voice to my children that I could understand as up until that point we had serious communication issues, I didn’t understand them and vice versa, now I am able to because 1 person decided to educate the world. For this I will be eternally grateful, she deserves an award as she works tirelessly to educate and help complete strangers through all types of media and has exposed the abuses that generally go under the radar. She literally is wonder woman and without this work it would be a darker place for a lot of people. Emma Dalmayne you are my hero, please never stop what you are doing, it is important, worthwhile and greatly appreciated.”

Monday, May 16, 2016 – “Emma not only believes in us, she gets us to believe in ourselves!”

Friday, April 29, 2016 – “I am an autistic person with a great deal of concern for children like me, who are often bullied, abused, and told they are not good enough. These “treatments” for autism are appalling, and in combating them and striving for autism acceptance (not awareness!), Emma Dalmayne is doing vitally important work. She is a truly amazing role model for autistic people and a great advocate for the community.”

Thursday, April 28, 2016 – “Autistic mom saving the lives of autistic kids? That’s the best thing ever!”

Monday, April 18, 2016 – “I’m autistic, and seeing positive representation of autistic people is so rare. Also, we need people to be openly opposed to things like “bleach cures,” which are perpetuated by people ignorant of what it actually means to be autistic.”

Her amazing support in her Facebook group to anyone in need, to her published book, offering much needed tips and helpful advice to all with a relation to the Autism Spectrum. Emma really deserves to be properly acknowledge for her selfless dedication. “

Friday, April 1, 2016 – “This horrible woman should not receive an award. She harrassess mother’s on social media. She is cruel heartless and hounds natural healers. Those treating cancer. She is a one woman mission of hate and has contacted me under various guises on social media to harrass me trying to say I use MMS. She has laughed and mocked this poor couple who have had their baby taken away. She is a poor excuse for a human. She has no understanding of MMS as a cure for many ailments. A very evil nasty person not worthy of any award”

Monday, March 28, 2016 – “Simply put – Emma is the one campaigning against shoving industrial bleach up the bums of Autistic kids – I don’t see Autism Speaks or Autistica doing that. “

Saturday, March 26, 2016 – “Emma’s work is saving lives. She provides valuable information and support to many autistic individuals and their families. “

Saturday, March 26, 2016 – “A role model for disabled people mustn’t be a stranger to the reality that many disabled people struggle to succeed, present themselves well, and fit into the wider world. I am also Autistic and I’ve heard story after story of school being simply unlivable for people like me. This is a woman whose relationship with the world was complicated and who turned that into compassion for her children, action for her community, and outreach to the wider society.”

Thursday, March 24, 2016 – “because of this: “I began campaigning against autistic mistreatment, in particular MMS which is chlorine dioxide bleach being used in enemas and oral solution to ‘cure’ Autism. I have worked with the BBC, BEN TV,The Independent, The Times and London Live to expose this vile abuse. With the help of wonderful colleuges we have recently seen the closure of three websites that were selling MMS and promoting it as a cure for Autism.” This is incredible! I am so glad to see something being done about the horrible mistreatment of autistic people in the pursuit of a “cure” which most autistic people do not want and fear how it will be forced on them.”

Thursday, March 24, 2016 – “I am on the autism spectrum and I do not want other families to be mislead and children to be forced or obliged to take poison under the misleading impression that it will cure their autism or make the negative parts of it less severe or negate the harmful comorbid issues that sometimes autistic people are more likely to get. There is no known cure for autism and the very idea of a cure is something that many autistic people disagree with as they feel that the world would be less diverse without it. Most autistic people are suspicious of those who claim to be able to cure autism, and for good reason – all too often it turns out to be the result of quack medicine such as this, and when a cure seems to have validity to it, the negative side-effects of a cure rule out the possibility of it being something someone in favor of some sort of treatment would want. It’s also worth bearing in mind that parents of children or carers of autistic people may be less likely to take the opinions of the people they are attempting to help seriously due to their age, their status as offspring, or their autism. This makes it all the more important that such people receive information from an objective source that they are willing to trust. As a person on the spectrum, I believe that having an autistic role model will help take autism more seriously, and having an autistic mother will challenge people’s perceptions of autism as an issue that only affects a stereotype of male children who are unable to live without support. “

Thursday, March 24, 2016 – “She is trying to get more safe kids.”

Tuesday, March 22, 2016 – “She has done amazing work for the autistic community”

Sunday, March 20, 2016 – “she is working to stop abusive parents”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “I am autistic and always overjoyed to hear of those fighting for our rights and autonomy.”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “I have a child with autism. Autism can be a long and difficult journey but adding miracle cures for something that is part of a person is dangerous and is child abuse. To fight against this is a BIG fight, I have great admiration for Emma and her tenacity. From one autism Mom to another… Go get them!!!”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “Autistic people live in a world in which others are trying to speak for us and keep us quiet, even as we cry that they are hurting us. It takes incredible strength to stand against people who abuse and dehumanize us, and Emma Dalmayne lives this strength. Please recognize her work to make the world safer for autistics and our loved ones.”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “I am also autistic and disabled. You don’t usually see people stand up for us, or when they do they are demonized, which is especially true for autistic adults advocating for personal agency of ourselves and others who are autistic. It’s incredibly refreshing to have not just a positive role model for parents of autistic children, but also a positive role model for autistic adults to stand up to abuse and protect those who are too young to stand up for themselves.”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “I am Autistic myself”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “Inspirational woman who is saving so many real lives. Her work is just as important as that of doctors. “

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “I nominate her because she´s fighting to stop the torture on autistic people.”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “I am voting for this woman because it is simply terrifying and shameful that people attempt to “cure” their autistic children through such drastic measures that could actually kill them. I am an autistic person myself and everyday witness the abuse that autistic children undergo in the name of “treatment” because there is fear and lack of acceptance surrounding the beauty of autistic minds. It is up to autistic adults who have made it out into the world alive to defend the rights, happiness, and the very lives of our autistic children, who belong by birthright to our community even if not in the hearts of their abusive parents. This wonderful woman is doing just that and deserves this award. “

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “I am delighted to see someone taking action against harmful mistreatments and working for support and respect for autistic people.”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “Emma is a phenomenal activist who both fights negative actions and promotes positives ones (instead of just one of those things) for comprehensive solutions- she fights child abuse and is representing some of the most vulnerable people on earth (children!)”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “She is saving Autistic lives!”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “Her work against the “bleach cure” has no doubt saved people’s lives, and this is so important.”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “As an autistic person, the whole crusade against autism is absolutely horrific to me. Dalmayne is an amazing person whose work has undoubtedly saved the lives of hundreds of autistic people, and has brought allistic attention to the abuse that many autistic people go through from “well meaning” caregivers. Her work is helping to undo the damage caused by anti-autistic organizations such as Autism $peaks, and will hopefully lead towards a greater understanding and acceptance of autistic people from our allistic peers and caregivers alike.”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “I am an autistic woman and I have learned through online activist disability communities about the wonderful work Emma Dalmayne has been doing on behalf of autistic children. Every time I hear about autistic children or children with other developmental disabilities going through harmful therapies or “cures” – ABA is an example – I want to do nothing more than swoop in and rescue them, and Emma is doing just that! She’s a real-life superhero.”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “she save children”

Saturday, March 19, 2016 – “I’m autistic, and autistic advocacy is very important to me. , and I think she is decreasing the many harms that some organizations and unethical people promote, and I hope to one day be as effective and kind as Emma Dalmayne.”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “Ms. Dalmayne is working to protect children from abuse, support parents who want to do right by their children, and to destigmatize autism. Her work saves lives.”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “Because she’s helping people like me. “

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “This woman is truly incredible. As an autistic person myself, I am constantly trying to fight back against cure culture and educate people about autism. MMS is one of the most horrific “autism cures” I have heard of. The thought that any parent thinks it is okay to use this on their child is revolting and abhorrent. Emma Dalmayne is doing such amazing work saving children from cruelty inflicted upon them in the name of “curing” something that doesn’t need a cure, and preventing other children from meeting the same fate. “

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “I am autistic and I want to vote for Emma Dalmayne for the positive role model award for her work in stopping dangerous autism “cures” that hurt or even kill children. By encouraging awareness of autism, she is helping us reach a time where autistic children will not be tortured or killed for being different and will not have to deal with ableism like this generation and previous generations have to.”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “I vote for Ms. Dalmayne because she is saving children from torture and death. That alone is worth the award, but she is also doing so with a positive message of education and understanding. She is saving parents from making a terrible mistake from their ignorance, and giving them knowledge so they can have better relationships with their children. She is an Autistic parent standing up for her fellow Autistics and making the world a better place for all.”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “It is disgusting that autistic children are being poisoned. That people make money by selling bleach as a cure.”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “Because she did and does was desperately needed doing. The bleach cures are an abomination against human rights. “

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “I’m a father of an autistic daughter who was recommended to visit one of these quack doctors and he is expanding his work in the South east!”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “I’m voting for Emma because she is actively working to prevent other autistic people from being abused, and because she is a disabled woman of color accomplishing great things and we need more examples of people like her to be widely publicized.”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “I am autistic. I went undiagnosed for many years, and my parents are understanding, but many are not. The bleach cures sold are deadly and are used to torture and kill children like me. Autistic people are not bad. Autistic people do not need to be cured. Autistic people are important, and valuable, and demand respect, just as we are. Emma Dalmayne’s work has saved the lives of many autistic people.”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “Not being murdered and abused by your parents should be a basic human right and this woman seems to be one of the only people who understands that. “

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “She’s advocated for people like me and has encouraged the proper treatment of all autistic people. “

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “She is an amazing advocate. She has changed the world and made it better through shutting down hateful ‘cures’ and organizations and speaking up about her experiences. It gives autistics everywhere hope and creates an important role model, especially for young POC autistic girls, who are so often forgotten and ignored. “

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “Because autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder, not some sort of parasite, and the thought of parents force-feeding their children bleach being something appaling shouldn’t be even up for debate.”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “Miss dalmatia has helped change the lives of thousends, including myself, and my family, in her support of autistic families nationwide and internationally through social media, and gives more than any one, in her fight to protect those with autism. She is not only fighting to stop the use of mms and support autistic people, she’s also fighting so that people understand that we haven’t got an illness or disease, we are just different, and not in a bad way. She fights for our acceptance. She fights for our pride She deserves this award!”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “I’m voting for Emma Dalmayne because she is working to end the widespread abuse of autistic children.”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “I have friends on the autism spectrum and I think it’s so important to recognise the work being done by people like Emma to save the lives of autistic children who are (either accidentally or deliberately) being abused because my friends could easily have been hurt if their parents had come across people promoting dangerous therapies. I would also love to see more adult women with autism being recognised in the media since nearly always when we see stories about autism it’s only young boys and that’s something that can make it very hard for girls and women to get diagnosed correctly. Parents who have disabilities are also not talked about enough so if Emma were to win this award it would be a great acknowledgement that a disability doesn’t mean you can’t raise a family.”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “I am autistic myself. Only mildly, but still.”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “Cure culture only ever paints Autistics as better off dead if they can’t be “cured” of Autism. How else could feeding a child bleach not appall parents? Emma Dalmayne has saved many valuable Autistic lives through her efforts, and she deserves recognition for her fight against people who view Autism as something that can and should be erased, no matter the cost. Autistics like me aren’t presented with many publicly lauded role models. We are often talked over by those who claim to speak for us. News stories paint mothers who throw Autistic children off bridges are painted as victims themselves instead of villains. We have been punished for expressing ourselves with our whole bodies and then written off as emotionally void when we don’t respond “normally” to emotional stimuli. Emma Dalmayne gives me hope. All our voices are valid and valuable; hers has made it through the fog of prejudice. She has pushed back against evil and she gives me the courage to do what I can to fight back against injustice. I really needed to know that people like Emma existed when I was in high school. I’m just glad that kids who are “different” can look to this woman and know that their differences aren’t obstacles to overcome, but assets to use throughout their lives.”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “Autistic people are often shouted down or ignored. Emma, though, is fighting to protect vulnerable kids from dangerous “treatments” that are actually harmful. “

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “Because I’m autistic and it’s horrifying that someone would poison their child like this! We don’t need a cure, we need acceptance!!”

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “Emma has done a great deal of work in investigating and stopping child abuse, which is especially common and unfortunately overlooked when it happens to disabled people. She has given her time and input for a similar situation down here and it has strengthen our message so much. “

Friday, March 18, 2016 – “I want to nominate Emma Dalmayne as she works tirelessly to stop a scam that often forces autistic children to take poison that damages their digestion. It’s horrifying that this is allowed to continue. She also aims together the wider public to understand that autism is a difference and thus improve the lives of other autistics. This misunderstanding of autism leads to such practices of drinking bleach and very importantly not vaccinating.”

Thursday, March 17, 2016 – “Emma works tirelessly, not only as an advocate for her autistic children but also as an ambassador for the autistic community in general. Her work in trying to expose and eradicate dangerous ‘cures’ for autism such as MMS is invaluable. Emma gives generously of her time and expertise to people in need of her help and support. Thank you Emma for all your hard work”

She’s possibly one of the most amazing people I’ve ever been lucky enough to come across although I’m not sure she realises quite how much she’s helped so many autistic people and their families. She works tirelessly to provide information and support to so many while also juggling being an amazing mother to her children and never giving up the fight against mms treatments. She’s a true treasure and deserves every bit to be recognised for this.”

Her crusade to educate and enlighten people about Neurodiversity is really to admire. She, deffinately deserves to be recognised for all of her work. “

Friday, February 26, 2016 – “Emma is a lovely lady who is devoted to helping support the autistic community and raising awareness of the so called ‘cures’ and even some therapies such as ABA that are actually damaging our autistic children and family members. Emma has written a book that explains some of the behaviours shown by autistics and why, which is an immense help to people struggling to understand their child. It is also of use to schools, childminders and others who need help to understand the autistic person. Emma runs several Facebook support groups, one of which (called Aspirations and autiness) has thousands of members worldwide. Emma also helps support us on a more personal level with form filling (meeting up with us personally) so that the forms are filled out with enough detail so as to make sure services agree to assess our children. There is still so much misunderstanding and myth surrounding autism, and especially autism in females – the more people that speak out the better we will all learn. When you understand more about autism you can truly appreciate how brave Emma is to do what she does and put herself out there. I can think of no better a role model. “

Mostly it’s due to people like Emma Dalmayne who understand the problem from the inside & are brave enough to stand up & in the face of a cynical public explain in simple words how difficult life is for a member of a family or the whole family who must deal with this problem. Brave, resourceful, persistent & optimistic are words which Spring to mind. She is a deserving candidate for a National Diversity Award. “

To be able to turn her autism into a positive and to be brave enough to take on the challenge of educating children and adults on this very sensitive and very varied condition is amazing. She is a role model to any parent and I wish her all the best.”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “An amazing lady who has achieved so much and helped so many.”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “She’s an inspiration “

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “One little voice is making so much difference.”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “I work with children and young people with Autism and know that it truly is a spectrum. Emma has written this brilliant book from the depths of her own personal experiences with the condition and the experience of an Autism Mum. It is easy to read, easy to understand and, in my opinion, every Autism Mum (and Dad, and Auntie, Uncle, Sister, Brother etc, etc, etc) should grab a copy. Like, now! “

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “This lady has done so much to bring the needs of the autistic to the fore. Her book has educated people about the condition and the pitfalls people can make.”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “This lady has written a book which will help parents understand autism better than any doctor as she has lived with it since she was born and now has her own child with autism what better. Way to understand than this she deserves the award for her courage in writing this book to help others”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “Emma fully deserves this award”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “Her commitment in the face of adversity??”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “For campaigning for the rights of autistic people and children. And the work that she has done “

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “Emma has bought so much positive to not only autistic world but opened the door to parents and public to help everybody to understand Autistics and secure happier life to everybody. I´m from Estonia, but I sincerely hope my vote counts, because Emma’s writings have helped also to fight against abusive scams abroad. So, Great Britain, you have a very special person, so positive and supportive, who has touched Autistics internationally. She’ s true fairy. Please, give her soft unicorn from me, too!”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “I vote for Emma because she is a tireless campaigner for autistic persons .She is a true advocate for our community. She is truly dedicated to the eradication of the abusive treatment on autistics, particularly chlorine dioxide bleach in enemas and oral solution to ‘cure’ Autism.Abuse of every citizen should be taken very seriously .We are different ,not less. “

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “This Lady has been an inspiration to me. After joining her support group for Autistic adults and parents of children also on the spectrum, I was transported into a different world from the one I knew. Full of amazing people who were celebrating their own, and their children’s unique gifts! And this group was so well protected, the first online group I had joined where admin patrolled the site nearly 24 hours a day, there was no bullying, no harassment, and no negative ‘cure talk’ allowed. It was a refreshing place to come to learn about elements of my Autistic daughters personality, and to find myself to be also on the Spectrum, followed closely by realising my own partner also was! Now we were all on board, and ready to accept and understand our lives in a way which we had never ever found anywhere before. Every day Emma was there, in the group, writing blogs and articles, giving advice, and coping stratagies for the more difficult areas of family life on the spectrum. Always there to add a comment, always helpful, with a real feeling of positiveness. I read of her own beautiful spectrum family, her life on the spectrum, and found myself having had many similar experiences. And that helped so much. To realise there are hundreds of like minded people, all with the same backgrounds, the same stuggles and challenges, all together, meeting every day, sharing magic milestone moments, helping each other through pain and trauma, all one big family, who care and accept not only the Autistic community, but the community as a whole, and be willing to accept all those with the same ethos to life. I cant begin to tell you just how much this group has changed my life, the good friends I have made, and the difference it has made to how we as a family live in harmony. After 6 months, I joined the admin team, where I help to keep our precious online family safe, and supported at all times. It wasn’t long before I started to see the other work which Emma had been doing. Her advocating for the autistic community was always clear, but I started to read disturbing posts about horrific ‘cures’ which were being touted. Emma appeared to be wading in whole style, to combat these awful treatments, to make everyone aware of what was happening. And she works tirelessly, every day, she keeps on pushing forward, demanding media coverage, demanding that these awful ideas of treatments and vile ‘therapies from the dark ages’ were put out to the Newspapers, to online groups, anywhere that would publish her articles. And slowly but surely she was making a difference. I have no idea where Emma gets her energy, she is driven from a deep seated need to help, and to protect vunerable children and adults from the horrors of barbaric treatments. But I have seen her work, and I am amazed, and I am humbled, that she finds time to make such an amazing difference. This lady has a heart of Gold. She is tough, and she is tireless, and do not expect sympathy if you have only negative talk of Autism, of the Community of learning differences as a whole, as it will not be tolerated. The way forward is clearly to understand, accept and accommodate everyone with both physical and neurological differences. Emma has taught me how to do this. And now, she has written a book!! And its a great book too!! Just what is needed, a simple, clear talking book, covering meltdowns, sensory issues, from an Autistic perspective. I am voting for her as 100& deserving of recognition of her tireless work (well, ok, I think she does get tired, but she just keeps on going regardless!) and for all the uplifting moments myself and my family have had since knowing her. To give something back, to see her win an award, would be a fantastic moment for all of us.”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “She cares about autistic people and puts them and their safety ahead of her own. “

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “For her advocacy, her excellent book and her help to the online autistic community I’d like to vote for Emma Dalmayne.”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “Autistic rights is an area that few delve into though many claim to serve. Amongst autistic people using a diagnosis for ‘self advocacy’ that garners nothing more than self publicity for that person and their manifestation of autism, Emma is different. She uses media for a cause. She campaigns to keep autisitc children safe. Having her win this award would give greater exposure to her work and much needed recognition. True advocates working on human rights work need to be celebrated for the work they do that is volunteer, without pay and is often unsupported by the large charities that shy away from the big issues. “

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “She is fearless is in the face of those trying to silence her. Her campaigns againstthe abuse of our autistic children is an endless task but she continues to empower those around her, a strong and constant voice for the vulnerable. Without Emma, so many would go on suffering.”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “Emma has raised so much awareness and done so much good for people who eternally do not get given a voice. She has changed the views of parents and how those parents actually parent their autistic children and created such an accepting environment with her pages and groups asuch well as physically campaigning for an end to abusive practices like bleaching and gcmaf. She is teaching the society that acceptance works so much better than trying to cure something that does not need curing or changing people who are perfect as they are. The work she has done is so valuable.and she deserves the recognition as she completely does it voluntarily.”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “Emma has over come many hurdles in life to become what she is today. She is a wonderful advocate for people with autism, fighting relentlessly to protect children and adults from the dangerous quackery that is MMS and the profiteers that peddle it to vunerable parents. Emma is a wonderful light in an all too often cruel uncaring world. If anyone deserves this award it is Emma x”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “Emma is a huge inspiration and help to the autistic community. Being autistic she has a fantastic ability to be able to help parents of kids with autistic children with sensory issues, meltdowns and other aspects. She is has a big Facebook group which helps so many parents, making life so much happier and easier. There are also many other autistic adults who have gained great friendships in this group. Her dedication to help people is huge, she arranges meet ups and has also started a new home school group for autistic kids. She has recently become a successful author with her awesome new book “It’s an autism thing – I will help you understand it. She is also a passionate supporter of autistic rights and campaigns hugely against dangerous and unethical autism ” treatments”. My nomination is with Emma Dalmayne “

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “Emma has overcome every hurdle in life and has gone on to help others. She has fought endlessly for the safety of our autistic children to protect them from people that would profit from selling bleach (MMS) ,often when we as parents are too disillusioned and tired to join the battle. If anyone deserves this award it’s Emma”

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “Please Vote for my Best friend Emma who is such a wonderful Autistic Advocate and works so hard in the Autistic community! Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “Emma has always helped those who can’t speak for themselves. She does this without caring what the consequences will be. She deserves this award and many more!! “

Wednesday, February 24, 2016 – “Emma works so hard fighting for are children and to keep other children safe who’s parents think there is a cure and use mms to cure there children of autism which isn’t true there is no cure and all it does is harm the child. She has help so many of us parent to understand are children and how to embrace are children who are autistic she is always there with help and advise even though she has her own family and autistic children herself and is on the spectrum herself nothing is ever to much trouble so I think she deserve to be recognised For all her hard work and campaigning for are children she is one amazing lady x I am a mother to 4 wonderful children I have a 14 year old autistic daughter and a son who is being tested at the minute I’m a stay at home mum as I also have a 3 year old and a nearly 16 year old son who I home school x “
